Hi I’m Tracie, After being a professional dancer for many years the next part of my life naturally turned to teaching, Aerobics, HIIT and Pilates for adults and Street dance and cheerleading for children. My love for Pilates came in 2018 as old injuries, wear and tear of my body developed and I needed a form of exercise to help my aches and pains and mental health to still be able to teach and Pilates was the answer. Pilates has many health benefits; it helps to increase the space between the vertebrae which minimises pressure on discs and nerves. All muscles are worked so the whole body can work together rather than one area being overloaded. The Pilates philosophy is all about training the mind and body to work together, it’s quality and not quantity. Exercise increases the levels of serotonin and endorphins which promote the feelings of wellbeing. Pilates is an excellent way to help you lead a happy, positive life.
