whose aims are to tackle, social isolation loneliness, anxiety, depression and issues that lead to poor mental health.
Our Coffee Shop (Expressions) provides an informal avenue for people to start to engage, a place of safety a place to make new friends and the doorway to all our activities taking place upstairs.
Meet the One Love Team
Richard Clarke
Director:
Richard has over 15 years of experience working with young people where he has been nominated for national recognition, while also being recognised for outstanding delivery and auditing from contract holders and the ESF (European Social Fund). Projects such as Re-Entry which Richard was an important part of now has 4 centres running across the borough of Wolverhampton. Richard is now focusing on his latest project One Love Community Music & Arts (CIC), in the hopes of creating an environment where people from all walks of life can come and connect to form a stronger and supported community. The Aim of his latest project is to support mental health and well being of local people, underpinned by creative activities which support the reduction of social isolation within the area.

David Williams

Director:
David has over 30 years' experience in community work and 20 in the holistic health field which has culminated into community orientated business, including Medical Health Work both Government and Independent.
He has diverse experiences, including roles in community rehabilitation, acute care, neurological physiotherapy, working for Probation, Local Education authorities, NHS Public Health Development, Schools, LGBT outreach, Project Management, NHS Physiotherapist and Healthcare Assistant.
He is dedicated to community Development work.
Sean Braithwaite
Director:
Sean Braithwaite is a UK-based artist of Afro-Caribbean heritage with a dynamic background in music, film, and carnival arts. He has led youth and community projects across Manchester and London, collaborating with major festivals including the Commonwealth Games, Thames Festival, and Hackney Carnival. Trained by Welfare State International and apprenticed with Kinetika, Sean specialises in lantern processions, costume design, and large-scale public art. His work blends storytelling, sculpture, and performance to foster inclusive, creative expression. Passionate about community engagement, Sean continues to inspire through collaborative spectacles that celebrate identity, imagination, and social connection.


Jagjit Kaur
Finance & Systems:
Jagjit started her career at Birmingham City Council as Payroll Clerk.
She enjoys her role at One Love Community, as a Finance & Systems Officer; she has had a varied career, both in the Public and Private sector. (from figure-work to working with vulnerable adults with challenging behaviour). She has worked for
Thomson Holidays abroad as a Travel /Customer Service Rep and at the Multi-
Media Arts Project Charity, which provided alternative education for children
excluded from main-stream Education, Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership. She is methodical and has a strong aptitude for organisation and figure work.
Pauline Clarke-Campbell
Lead Assessment Officer - Mindfulness Practitioner:
Pauline Clarke-Campbell is a highly experienced member of the One Love team, bringing a wealth of expertise in supporting and empowering individuals, particularly those who are vulnerable or disadvantaged. Her extensive professional background includes roles in Social Services and the Probation Service.
Pauline's dedication to holistic support is further highlighted by her skills in business development, mentoring, and her certifications as a Mindfulness Practitioner and Mental Health First Aider. Her diverse experience is invaluable in helping One Love create a dedicated space that addresses social isolation and supports the mental health and well-being of the local community.


Carol Tipper
Coffee Shop Manager:
Carol has been with us for five years. She brings with her a wealth of experience having worked for Walsall Council for a number of years and even though she should have officially retired, she still loves to get up and come to work. She has a brilliant team who fully commit to the values and ethos of One Love Community Music and Arts and everyday we hear positive comments from our customers because of this well drilled team.
Nick Hill
Open Mic Lead:
Nick brings a wealth of educational experience and musical talent to the One Love Community, supporting our mission to tackle social isolation through creative arts. Having retired as a School Head Teacher, Nick now shares his expertise by teaching guitar at the centre. A dedicated musician, Nick's expertise spans an impressive range of styles, including blues, flamenco, classical, and jazz. He actively performs as a member of a local blues band. His passion for music and his background in education make him an invaluable mentor, inspiring community members to connect and develop new skills through the power of music.


Helen Green
Music Lead:
Helen serves as one of the Music Leads and Planners, central to coordinating the creative activities at One Love. She is a versatile musician; Helen brings practical skills playing the guitar, ukulele, and drums. She is passionate about the organisation's core mission, deeply believing that music is a powerful tool for promoting well-being and happiness. Helen finds immense fulfilment in her role, using her skills to inspire connection and creativity throughout the community.
Timothy Mcgraw
Music Lead:
As the Music Lead Assistant, Tim McGraw is dedicated to supporting the musical programming and development at One Love. A multi-talented musician, he plays the guitar, piano, and mouth organ. Tim is passionate about building confidence in the local community, especially encouraging people to "get out of their house" and feel comfortable sharing their musical abilities in front of others. He deeply appreciates that One Love provides a dedicated space to make a positive change, fostering an environment where more individuals can become confident in their musical talents.

Perri Taylor-Finn
Web Frontend/Social Media/Digital Services:
Perri leads the digital presence for One Love Community, bringing over six years of professional freelance experience in front-end web development. Having supported the organization’s website and digital infrastructure for over a year, Perri now officially manages the site’s maintenance and growth. In addition to technical development, Perri oversees the official Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn channels, ensuring the community stays connected, informed, and engaged with One Love’s mission across all digital platforms.
